The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that the proposed amendment to the Association’s By Laws was overwhelmingly approved at the member’s meeting of May 30, 2018.The quorum requirements were met by having 232 homeowners represented, which equals more than 17% of total membership. (At least 10% representation was needed to act on the proposal.) This figure of 232 homes was made up of 48 homeowners present in-person at the meeting and 184 proxies which were received by the HOA office.
When the votes were counted, there were 219 votes in favor of the proposal, 3 voted against the proposal and 10 abstained or only wanted to be counted toward the quorum requirement.
This new “Amended and Restated By-Laws of the Twin Lakes Homeowner’s Association, Inc.” will be filed with King County and become one of the official governing documents of the homeowner’s association.
