You are cordially invited to attend a special Member’s meeting, which will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the Twin Lakes Golf & Country Club ballroom, located at 3538 SW 320th St in Federal Way, WA. Registration will begin at 6:00 pm and the meeting will be called to order at 7:00 pm.

This meeting will seek to receive sufficient positive homeowner votes to approve the proposed amendments to the Twin Lakes Homeowner’s Association By-Laws concerning the process of electing Board Members.  The proposed By-Law Amendments have been drafted to strengthen Member voting rights by:

  • Reforming proxy use
  • Adding absentee voting methods
  • Assuring a Member’s right to run for election to the Board of Trustees.

All homeowners should have received a copy of the proposed changes/amendment to the Twin Lakes Homeowner’s Association By-Laws in the mail. If not, you can find a copy by clicking here.

Please review these important documents so you understand the proposed changes. (Need some help on this? Please call the HOA office at (253) 838-046 from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday.)

In order to hold this important Member’s meeting, the Twin Lakes HOA governing documents require that at least 10% of the homeowners be present, either in person or by proxy.   While we encourage you to attend the meeting in person, we know some may not be able to. If you cannot attend the meeting, you can still participate by completing and returning the bright yellow proxy instead. You don’t even need a stamp if you use the return envelope provided!

According to our latest count of proxies, we are not quite to 10% yet! It takes a lot of pressure off the process if it is known that this meeting can legally take place by having at least the required 10% “in-hand” via proxy prior to the start of the meeting. Either way, we need your help by completing a proxy now, or attending the meeting that evening.

Thanks for your interest and help in moving the Twin Lakes Homeowners Association forward.
